Event: Pokello MCC "Classique 2025" Launch

It was an unforgettable night of glitz, glamour, and style as the Queen of Swagger, Pokello Nare, showcased her premium brand to the people. Dubbed the "Ghetto Invasion", the official launch of the Pokello MCC (Méthode Cap Classique) took place in the vibrant heart of Mbare, Zimbabwe, proving that luxury lifestyle experiences can thrive anywhere.

This star-studded event combined fashion, entertainment, and local culture, marking a historic moment in Zimbabwe's premium lifestyle and beverage industry.

Classy in the Ghetto

"Where else can you launch it but Mbare itself?"

Despite the rain trying to dampen spirits, the turnout was massive with over 400 guests in attendance. The venue was transformed into a world-class setup, blending the raw energy of the ghetto with high-end luxury. As Mr. Nyamz noted, "It feels like a world-class event... I never thought this would happen in our lifetime in the middle of Mbare."

The fashion theme was executed to perfection. From Kikky Badass in custom designs to Tamy Moyo rocking a monochrome blue denim look by Keith Patch Me, the guests understood the assignment.

Host Tariro Gezi, hailing from Kuwadzana herself, expressed her pride: "This is very special to me because I come from the ghetto. Having the class invade the ghetto is priceless."

Star-Studded Guest List

The event was a "Who's Who" of Zimbabwean entertainment:

  • Killer T (Chairman): Endorsed the brand, saying, "Hapana zvikuru zvatinoita... imbwa dzemashampeni."
  • Tamy Moyo: Commanded the stage and confirmed new music projects ("#Royalty") coming soon.
  • Kikky Badass: Announced a new album dropping in 2026 and plans to expand her reach beyond Zimbabwe.
  • Xiba: The voice behind the event's soundtrack, promising "More music by fire by force."

The African Finder gave the MCC a rave review, describing it as a "Premium nectar" with the taste of "white grapes harvested in the early morning of the Cape Town sun."

Other notables included Nathan Mutasa (fresh from his Scotland FC win), DJ Towers (bringing the comedy), Allen & Yahya, and Sakhile & Brooke representing Zimbabwe on the international stage.

The Queen Speaks

In an exclusive interview with Miss V Candy, Pokello Nare explained the strategy behind the product:

"I didn't want the sparkling wine or the MCC to just be an uptown or boujee thing. I wanted it to reach the masses. So we launched it in a can so everyone can afford it."

She expressed feeling overwhelmed by the support, noting that the brand has sold out twice in just three months.
