The Origins of the Conflict
The lawsuit stems from a series of scandalous claims Musabayana made on social media, alleging Madam Boss was having extramarital affairs with multiple men, including a high-ranking ruling party official. These claims were widely circulated, causing significant distress to Madam Boss's family and professional brand.
According to reports, Musabayana’s attacks went beyond public posts. She allegedly called Madam Boss’s husband, Ngoni Munetsiwa, at 2:00 AM. During the call, she made similar infidelity claims and demanded he instruct Madam Boss to leave her supposed boyfriend, Kelvin (aka Apple Papi).
Stalking & Systematic Harassment
Madam Boss’s lawyer, Admire Rubaya, has accused Musabayana of stalking and persistent harassment. Evidence cited includes instances where Musabayana allegedly grabbed screenshots of Madam Boss’s innocuous posts and added disparaging, malicious remarks to mischaracterize her in public.
Rubaya stated in the legal letter: “You made this gravely defamatory assertion with reckless abandon, displaying a callous disregard for the truth and the profound damage such a statement would cause to our client’s marriage and family.”
Barbaric Threats & Safety Concerns
Perhaps the most serious part of the lawsuit involves threats of violence. Musabayana allegedly vowed to make Madam Boss “disappear for good” unless she abandoned a relationship. Madam Boss and her family are reportedly living in fear following these threats.
The lawsuit claims Musabayana flaunted supposed ZANU PF membership and influence within the security sector to back up her threats. Rubaya's letter describes these actions as "outright criminality" and "barbaric."
The Legal Ultimatum
Madam Boss has demanded a full retraction and a public apology. Should Musabayana fail to comply, the legal team will proceed to issue a Summons for US$500,000 in defamation damages. The behavior has been widely condemned across social media platforms by fans and legal observers alike.
