As a prominent figure in Zimbabwe’s gospel music scene, Dorcas Moyo emphasizes that online abuse not only affects personal well-being but also threatens the integrity of public figures and their work. Through legal channels and public awareness efforts, she aims to set a precedent for protecting artists against cyber harassment, reinforcing the importance of accountability in the digital space.

The Cyberbullying Fallout

Reflecting on a challenging 2025, Dorcas Moyo revealed that persistent trolling and smear campaigns tested her spirit. The breaking point came with recent allegations of an illicit affair with a top gospel artist.

Moyo expressed deep hurt over a recent viral post claiming she was involved in an affair. "I didn’t take such malice lightly," she stated. "I warn those peddling lies on social media that I was genuinely hurt by their posts. I don’t know what some people want to achieve with those hurtful posts because I am also human."

The "Mhanza Haisekwi" hitmaker confirmed she has engaged her management team to pursue legal recourse.

"One of them will regret it, as there are laws in place to protect us at this moment. We will certainly deal with them because the bullying smear campaign hasn’t stopped."

2026: A Season of Conquest

Despite the "haters trying to spoil the new season," Dorcas Moyo remains focused on her divine assignment. The production of her 2026 album is already underway.
