The diva, who works as a nurse, has been holding a series of shows locally, much to the delight of her fans who have missed her soulful delivery and heartfelt storytelling.

A Triumphant Return

Cynthia’s return to performing has already made a splash. Her recent schedule includes:

  • The State House: A prestigious performance before the First Lady and the President.
  • Zimbabwe German Society: Hosting a homecoming party in Harare that attracted numerous arts promoters.

“Initially, I intended to return to the United Kingdom around December but, for now, I’ve decided to postpone that indefinitely,” she revealed.

New Releases

Known for hits like “Zuva Rimwe,” Cynthia has recently released a single titled “Ndinewe.”

The track was recorded at Military Touch Studios and produced by Jah Prayzah. Her team noted that after taking time away, she has been quietly working in the studio, with more music set to drop over the coming months.

Feeling the Love

Cynthia admitted she was overwhelmed by the reception after being away for a decade.

“To be honest, I wasn’t expecting this kind of love after being away for 10 solid years. I thought people had forgotten about me, but I was humbled to discover that I still have loyal fans supporting me,” she said.

She added that meeting familiar faces and enjoying traditional foods have been highlights of her return.

Her Journey

Cynthia has reunited with some of her original band members, noting that the chemistry remains strong despite last performing together in 2015.

Reflecting on her catalog, including emotional tracks like ‘Dai Zvaibvira’ (dedicated to her late mother), she spoke on the power of music:

“I cherish it when people use my songs as a source of comfort, and I will continue writing material with substance.”
