Born on November 6, 1983, in Mhondoro Ngezi and raised in Chitungwiza, Prophet Magaya's spiritual journey took a defining turn after a visit to the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Nigeria. An inspirational encounter with the late Senior Prophet T.B. Joshua guided him toward his God-given mandate. This marked the spiritual birth of what would become Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministries, a calling he has pursued with passion ever since.

One of the first notable miracles was the healing of Mr. Nyandoro, who had been blind for three years and had his sight restored. Following the miracle, Prophet Magaya famously declared "Mbiri kuna Jesu" (Glory to Jesus), a phrase that reflects his core message: he is merely a vessel, and Jesus Christ is the true healer. He is a dedicated family man, married to Tendai Katsiga-Magaya, a banker by profession. Together, they have been blessed with two children, Yadah Makanaka and Walter Junior. His late father, Freddy Muvirimi, was a pillar of support throughout his life.
