Prominent hip-hop artist Holy Ten has issued a sweeping public apology for his past behavior, announcing a complete "rebirth" of his brand rooted in accountability, faith, and a new purpose to uplift the youth of Zimbabwe.
Apology, Reflection, and Renewal
In a formal press statement, Mukudzei Chitsama, publicly known as Holy Ten, began by extending his "deepest and most sincere apologies" to the Government of Zimbabwe and His Excellency, the President, Dr. E. He also apologized to his fans, family, wife, and in-laws for the pain and embarrassment his past behavior may have caused, stating: "Those moments do not represent who I am today nor the values I now strive to live by."
The artist revealed that he has been in a "deep process of learning, healing, and rebuilding," embracing lessons in humility, responsibility, and respect for authority, family, and self. "Every day presents a new lesson, and I am embracing them all with an open heart and a renewed mind," he wrote.
A New Direction: Rebirth of a Brand
Holy Ten described his transformation as "more than a rebrand, it is a rebirth." He stated that the Holy Ten brand has undergone a complete overhaul, now rooted in accountability, discipline, and purpose.
"From here forward, my focus remains on music, redemption, and the transformation of lives."
His new mission is to create music that "uplifts, heals, and strengthens the youth of Zimbabwe and beyond."
To reflect this new professionalism, all bookings, performances, and official communications will now be handled by a newly structured management team.
