Chaos & Looting Venue manager Shepherd Maeni described the scene as "more than a war." Irate fans shattered windows, looted stock from the bar, and heavily damaged vehicles and the stage.

Meanwhile, veteran Zimdancehall scout Godfatha Templeman linked the lack of professionalism to the growing scourge of drug and substance abuse in the industry: "We don’t want artistes failing to attend shows or painting a bad image of the industry through their conduct," he noted.
