Zimdancehall & Hip-Hop Ensuring the younger generation stays on their feet, energetic chanter Jah Master will deliver his Zimdancehall hits, while Bulawayo’s pride, rapper Mzoe 7, brings urban flair to the national event.

Bringing the Gala to Mhondoro

For the very first time, the massive, state-funded entertainment extravaganza is bypassing the traditional urban hubs in favor of grassroots accessibility.

Leaving No One Behind Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services deputy director Hymn Mureru stated: “This is the first time Mhondoro will host such an event in line with President Mnangagwa’s mantra of leaving no place and no one behind.”
A Free Mega-Event Scheduled for August 11, the event will allow people from Mhondoro and surrounding rural areas to enjoy performances by the country’s biggest musical stars without having to travel long distances to Harare or Bulawayo. Entry is completely free.
