Carl Niehaus: Why Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma's Politics Threaten South Africa's Pan-African Future

Carl Niehaus Accuses Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma of Treason, Afrophobia & US Imperialism After South Africa's June 30 Protests

I have never been one to mince my words or beat around the bush. I say what others may shy away from saying, because the truth must be spoken, no matter how uncomfortable. Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma is not a revolutionary. She is not even an activist by any stretch of the imagination. She is a conspirator with, and an agent of, the United States of America and Western imperialism, together with Zionism. She is a traitor and a seditionist who should be charged with treason.

THE JUNE 30 FALLOUT: Following violent anti-illegal immigration marches in Durban led by the "March and March" movement, EFF MP Carl Niehaus exposes the deep geopolitical ties and hypocrisy driving the Afrophobic unrest.

This is not rhetoric for effect. It is a cold, hard analysis rooted in history, in the lived experience of our liberation struggle, and in the concrete damage her so-called "March and March" movement has already inflicted on South Africa and on our standing across the African continent. For months I have warned that March and March is the latest manifestation of the "third force" that haunted our struggle in the 1980s and early 1990s. Then, as now, shadowy operators and their local proxies sowed division among the oppressed to protect white monopoly capital and imperialist interests.

A False Flag of Patriotism

Ngobese-Zuma and her movement cloak themselves in the language of patriotism and concern for the poor, but their actions achieve the precise opposite of any genuine revolutionary programme.

The Real Victims of the "South Africans First" Narrative:

Bloodshed and Displacement In the weeks leading up to and around the 30 June protests, at least four fellow Africans were killed, thousands displaced, and shops looted. The chants of “they must go” created the poisonous atmosphere in which such attacks flourish. This is not activism. This is incitement.
Pitting the Poor Against the Poor Instead of uniting the working class against the real enemies—white monopoly capital, land dispossession, and privatisation—they turn the poor against one another. They direct rage at African migrants rather than at the structures that keep all of us in chains.
Isolating South Africa By promoting Afrophobia, she isolates South Africa from the rest of the continent when African unity is needed most to resist US and Western economic domination and to strengthen BRICS. She turns us into a byword for xenophobia.

The Washington Indoctrination

The hypocrisy is staggering. While railing against foreign influence in our communities, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma sought and received training directly from the United States State Department.

The 2023 IVLP Programme In August 2023, Ngobese-Zuma was selected for the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and traveled to the US in September. This is not a neutral academic course; it is an indoctrination program designed to advance American national security priorities.
CIA Grooming Tactics It is entirely legitimate to ask whether she has been recruited by, or directed by, the CIA. The theme she attended was "Media Responsibility in an Age of Disinformation." Yet she now leads a movement that spreads disinformation against African migrants, aligning perfectly with imperial objectives to keep Africa divided.

A NATION ON EDGE: As the 'March and March' movement formalizes its anti-immigration campaign, widespread looting, arson, and vigilante justice have forced the deployment of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF).

A Betrayal of the MK Legacy

It is a disgrace that the recently formed MK Party lent its support to these Afrophobic outrages. Even more shameful is the opportunistic posture of Jacob Zuma himself.

The True Pan-African Spirit of uMkhonto weSizwe vs. Today's Opportunism:

Jacob Zuma's Forgotten Exile For years during the struggle, Jacob Zuma lived in African countries as a direct beneficiary of African solidarity, even travelling with a Sudanese passport. To scavenge votes for the upcoming Nov 4 local elections by supporting March and March is a profound betrayal of internationalist traditions.
The True African Solidarity Nelson Mandela received military training in Algeria. MK bases were hosted in Angola, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, and Mozambique. In 1976, Nigerian civil servants had 2% of their salaries deducted for the 'Mandela Tax' to fund our freedom fighters. Our struggle was never narrowly nationalist.
THE CLARION CALL

Charge Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma with Treason

History is clear: when movements like this arise, they rarely emerge in a vacuum. The engineering of internal chaos is a classic tool of Western intelligence agencies. They distract from the real plunder: the dominance of white monopoly capital, the failures of the GNU, and the corruption in state institutions.

I say without equivocation: Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma should be investigated for foreign seditious links and funding. The treasonous March and March movement must be stopped. South Africans must reject this poison. We must fight for land expropriation without compensation, for the nationalisation of the commanding heights of the economy, and for a sovereign, anti-imperialist South Africa that stands shoulder to shoulder with the rest of our continent.

Defend our unity. Advance the true revolution of our generational mission for economic freedom in our lifetime.
