The accident occurred on Monday, January 26, 2026, along the Harare-Bindura road. Reports indicate it was a head-on collision that claimed the lives of the Pastor, his father, and his uncle on the spot.

Rainbow Ministries Confirms
The sorrowful news was formally announced by Rainbow Ministries International on the evening of the accident. Apostle Dr. Bishop Phiri addressed the church family with a heavy heart:
“It is with deep sorrow that we share the sad news that our pastor, Pastor Alpha Ngoni Gatsi, was involved in a road accident today while traveling with his father and his Uncle. Tragically, all three passed away on the spot.”
