Jah Prayzah Biography
Mukudzeyi Mukombe, widely known as Jah Prayzah, is a leading Zimbabwean contemporary musician, band leader of Third Generation, and a cultural ambassador. His fans affectionately call him "Musoja" (soldier) due to his signature military-inspired stage outfits.

Raised in rural Zimbabwe, Jah Prayzah developed a passion for music early, influenced by the traditional mbira instrument and church singing with his mother. He was an avid reader of Shona literature, sharpening the poetic style seen in his songwriting today.
He began recording music in 2001 and released his debut album Rudo Nerunyararo in 2007. His major breakthrough came with Sungano Yerudo (2009), featuring the hit “Sungano.”
Jah Prayzah blends traditional Zimbabwean sounds—such as jiti and mbira—with modern genres like afrobeat and reggae. His storytelling approach has earned him a powerful connection with audiences at home and abroad. His 2013 album Tsviriyo cemented his superstar status.
He has collaborated with major African artists including Diamond Platnumz ("Watora Mari"), Yemi Alade, and Charma Girl.
Jah Prayzah has won multiple NAMA and ZIMA awards. He is celebrated globally for promoting Zimbabwean culture, storytelling, and traditional music on the world stage.
Winky D Biography
Winky D (real name Wallace Chirumiko) is a legendary Zimbabwean reggae-dancehall artist, widely regarded as a pioneer of the Zimdancehall movement. He is known as The Big Man and the Ninja President, famous for socially aware music that challenges injustice.
Born on February 1, 1983, in Harare, Winky D grew up in Kambuzuma, where his early love for reggae and dancehall was formed.
He entered the music scene as a teenager, becoming well-known at age 16 through DJ battles where he earned the nickname "Wicked DeeJay", later shortened to Winky D. His early work helped define the raw Zimdancehall sound.
Winky D is known for fearless social commentary tackling corruption, poverty, addiction, and inequality. His advocacy work includes campaigns for HIV/AIDS awareness and drug abuse prevention.
He has achieved international recognition and shared stages with top global artists.
Winky D has won numerous awards, including multiple Best Male Artist, Best Album, and Best Entertainer honors across ZIMA, NAMA, and international award platforms.
