Spirit of Praise Conquers Bulawayo: 5,000 Fans, One Holy Night

It was a night of divine worship and musical excellence as 5,000 gospel music fans packed the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre (ZIEC). Spirit of Praise (SOP) made their triumphant return to Bulawayo for the Volume 11 Project Launch, delivering a sold-out performance that exceeded all expectations.
The Atmosphere
This marked SOP’s second appearance in the city following a successful visit last year. The group attracted an even bigger audience this time around, eager to witness the live rendition of the Spirit of Praise Volume 11 project.
The event kicked off at 6 PM with the charismatic Mbo Mahocs serving as Master of Ceremonies. She effectively engaged the crowd, setting the stage for local heavyweights:

At 7:30 PM, the ensemble took the stage. Here is how the night unfolded.
Sindi Ntombela opened the set with powerful ministry, performing the beloved anthem "Let Your Living Waters Flow"—a moment that resonated deeply with the audience.
Xola Toto, recognized for her impressive vocal control, showcased her new song "Speak Lord," garnering admiration from the crowd.
Zaza Mokhethi: Evoked nostalgia with "Namhla Nkosi," connecting the audience to SOP’s roots.
Mpumi Mtsweni: Brought the house down with her signature song "Nangu Mthokozisi," an undisputed fan favorite.
Pastor Mthunzi Namba: The guest of honor led the crowd in a belt-out session of "Sweet Jesus," elevating the worship spirit.
Lufuno Dagada delighted the audience with songs in Venda and Shona, demonstrating the group’s commitment to cultural inclusivity. Heavyweights Ayanda Ntanzi and Dumi Mkokstad also delivered standout performances that anchored the night.
